Our Travellers Arrive and Witness the Procession of the Epitaphs and the Memorial Service

All our group are in Athens. A few missed last night due to travel tiredness.

We did a walking tour of the Plaza and visited the oldest bar in Athens ans sampled Ouzo and Mastiha and learned there history, it certainly warmed all.

We then continued and visited some of the old Byzantine Churches which were open for the Mass of the Epitaph. We concluded the walking tour at Syntagma Square in front of Parliament House in order to see the Procession of the Epitaphs and the Memorial Service in front of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. Tomorrow the tour of Athens.
